To be an x-tra taxi driver; first download the app from google play store, the apple app store, log on to our website, www.xtrataxi.com or our social media platforms and complete the registration process following the steps below:
- Download and launched the “x-tra Driver” app and complete registration process.
- Log on to the system and follow prescribed steps as advised.
- Present nominated car at designated automobile support centers for pre-mobilization inspection at own costs and expense, without recourse to x-tra.
- When clearance is obtained following a successful inspection, proceed to use x-tra Driver app.
During the registration process, a verification code would be sent to driver’s mobile telephone line to verify phone number, followed by email verification (code would be sent to driver’s email address for verification also).
After the verification process is completed online, the x-tra Driver app screen would be enabled so that driver is able to commence services, access trip statistics, manage vehicle and vehicle documentation, and see wallet balance.
